Master winemakers and wine enthusiasts from around the world gather in the mountains for the annual Rocky Mountain Wine Festival. Experience the beauty of Winter Park in autumn while sipping on the most incredible showcase of wines from around the world. You’ll get to meet the winemakers, or, vintners, and expand your palate during the Grand Tastings. Take a scenic gondola ride to the Best of Fest event which features the gems of the Festival during an evening tasting. Plan your perfect wine weekend today.
The event venue is open to the public. To participate in the wine festival, you must be 21 years of age or older.
Over 80 different wine, beer and spirit samples will be showcased over the festival weekend.
Colorado law prohibits the sale of wine at the festival. Hold onto your Festival Guide as well so you have a list of your personal favorites.
The Grand Tastings will have small bites and samples from each. There will not be full meals served.

We recommend using Winter Park’s free bus system. Parking near the event is likely to fill up quickly and be limited. You can find Winter Park parking lots.

Live entertainment is dependent upon the event. See your event for live entertainment details.
Like any concert or sporting event, no refunds will be given if you are unable to make it to the event. In some instances, we will be able to assist verifying third-party sellers and buyers.
We will do our best to run the event as planned. The event will most likely be held, rain or shine, just like a sporting event or concert. The mountain outdoors can be unpredictable in the fall so dress accordingly.
Winter Park has many options available to help you get around during your stay. There is a free bus system that will take you directly to where the Grand Tasting is held. Other options include a taxi or shuttle service from your hotel (if provided).
